International Families

A British education.
Wherever home happens to be.

Cambridge Home School brings live, small-group British education to ambitious pupils around the world. Expert teachers, a remarkably broad curriculum and a school community that travels with you.

The school you choose shouldn't depend on where you live.

For many families, choosing a school has meant choosing what is available locally, relocating, or considering boarding. Cambridge Home School changes that equation.

Specialist British teachers, live lessons, small classes and an ambitious curriculum — while your child remains at home with their family. A positive choice of school, not a compromise of place.

In her story, Xenia describes expert teachers, small live classes, academic support and university preparation — alongside the friendships, clubs and student-led activities that make CHS a school community.

Our pupils

One school. Many worlds.

Cambridge Home School pupils live around the world, but learn together every day. Their experiences are different. Their school is shared.

Leadership without borders

“With students spanning so many continents, you can imagine how exciting it is to share glimpses of our very different lives.”

Isabel studied at CHS from Jamaica and became Head Girl. Mentoring, Houses, competitions and friendships placed her at the heart of school life — not at its edge.

Big ambitions need room to grow

“The lessons are very interactive and we are all engaged even though we live miles away from each other.”

Heer combined CHS with competitive swimming and representing Uganda at national-team level. Training, lessons and travel were all part of his life: he could carry his school everywhere.

Move country. Keep your education moving.

Ahmed describes continuity of British education in Saudi Arabia: live lessons, relationships with teachers, friendships, clubs and Houses. A change of country need not mean starting school life again.

More choice.
More possibility.

A local school’s subject choices can be shaped by access to specialist teachers and the size of a subject cohort. At CHS, pupils encounter the breadth of a strong British independent education.

Continuity, wherever life takes you

Different places.
One school.

Move city. Move country. Keep your school.

Work, family circumstances and life itself can bring a change of address. Your child can retain their teachers, classmates and curriculum, with continuity in the education they have chosen.

You needn’t be moving at all. Many international families choose CHS for a British education while continuing to live in their own country.

Known by their teachers.

This is live school: teachers and classmates, questions and discussion. Not a library of recordings or a self-study platform.

With no more than 10 pupils in a class, teachers have space to notice how a pupil thinks, invite their contribution and nurture their curiosity.

British qualifications.
Global ambitions.

From early foundations to IGCSE/GCSE and A Level study, each school stage prepares pupils for the next.

Cambridge Home School pupils progress to leading universities in the UK and internationally.

The majority of the Class of 2026 progressed to their preferred Russell Group universities. Other pupils secured opportunities including US scholarships and university places in Dublin, Switzerland and Amsterdam.

Examination arrangements depend on the qualification and subject. Families arrange an examination centre; some subjects require examinations in the UK.

Different countries.
Shared ambitions.

Belonging is built in the everyday: conversations with classmates, House competitions, pupil-led clubs and the work pupils create together.

Sometimes those shared ambitions bring pupils together in person. Winwin, Ashima and John represented CHS at the World Scholar’s Cup Johannesburg Round in 2026, taking part in writing, debate and academic challenge.

Could CHS be right for your child?

Choosing a school from another country can raise different questions. Our Admissions team can help you understand the school, curriculum and admissions process and whether CHS is the right fit for your child.
